阿克苏的城市中心有一个世纪广场，广场四周高楼林立、绿树成荫。在明媚的春日和凉爽的秋日，广场是最热闹的，孩童、少男少女、还有老翁，都喜爱来这里放风筝。有许多老伯伯的`风筝都是自己做的，非常漂亮，而且放得很高很高。白天这里经常有老人在散步，孩子们在玩耍;到夜晚，这里变成了歌的海洋、舞的世界、一片欢声笑语，处处洋溢着欢乐和谐的场面。
阿克苏的风味民族小吃很多，有千里飘香的烤包子，有垂涎三尺的烤肉串，有香喷喷的馕和抓饭，还有叫人眼前一亮的手抓羊肉......这些小吃，可不比其他省市的小吃差哦!我阿姨来阿克苏吃了馕坑肉后，回北京再吃羊肉都说北京的羊肉没肉味了呢!
阿克苏的建筑也很有民族特。在周边的村庄和郊区随处可见盖着圆拱形大门门框的农户民房，民房的房顶上雕刻着看着花纹杂乱却又有规律可循的几何图形，看着这些图案会让人不禁浮想联翩.....
阿克苏还有很多风景名胜:沙漠绿洲——温宿神木园、天山高山湖泊——库车大龙池、一望无际的塔克拉玛干大沙模漠...在去年"十一"大假期间爸爸妈妈开车带我从阿拉尔市区出发，过了塔里木大桥前行到沙漠公路就进入了塔克拉玛干沙漠边缘，这片沙漠有起伏的沙丘但不是很高。
在沙漠公路的两边看到最多的景就是胡杨了，那些死了的和倒了的胡杨树构成了一幅幅深幽、寂静的画卷，还散发着强烈的神秘感。而活着的胡杨树却像一个个哨兵那样"肩并肩"地挺立着，好像在守卫着自己的家园。妈妈告诉我胡杨树是最悲壮的树: “生了一千年不死，死了一千年不倒，倒了一千年不朽"。我突然想，这种精神不正是我们阿克苏人"自力更生、团结奋进、艰苦创业、无私奉献"的精神吗?
这就是充满诗情画意、神奇魅力的阿克苏。我爱我的家乡——阿克苏。
