1.通过控制面板或者360、qq管家等软件卸载ArcGIS9.3 Engine Runtime.

到ARCGIS9.3 Engine Runtime的Product code

使用如下windows安装命令行来进行后台卸载一个arcgis产品。

例如：卸载ArcGIS9.3 Engine Runtim为什么空调制热半天没反应软件，可以用以下命令行：
  /x {993E1907-DC8A-485F-B724-9BCD3F9EA468}  /qb

注:在卸载的过程中最好将其它软件关闭,否则在卸载过程会提示你关闭一些应用程序.有些程序需要通过任务管理器结束进程.

首先:删除ESRI文件夹
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ESRI
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ESRI

5.如果上述方法,仍不能卸载ArcGIS Engine Runtime,请先停掉ArcGIS相关服务(如果有的话),然后直接删除ArcGIS相关文件夹.
如果在安装ArcGIS Engine Runtime时, 选择是默认安装,那么ArcGIS相关文件夹的路径应该C:\Program Files下,将ArcGIS和ESRI文件夹删除.如果删不了,可以用何炅是GAG吗360或则qq管家的粉碎工具.
之后使用360或者qq管家清理一下垃圾.最后重启电脑(最好)

was eventually able to resolve this error after some exhaustive searches turned up nothing I resorted to digging in the registry.  I found the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer
Under the Installer key was another key called "InProgress" and it had a default entry referring to an IPI file in the C:\Windows\Installer directory which I opened in notepad and saw that it referenced my failed uninstall.  While I was unable to delete the file, I was able to modify the registry and change the name of file so that it could not be found.  Once doing so, I was able to run an uninstall on a different listing without the annoying undo message popping up again.
So, if you're looking for a way to force a failed or suspended package to be removed, remove the reference to the IPI file in the registry key mentioned above.孙俪资料
