有这样一段英语对话，内容是一个职员A拐弯抹角地说话，试图向他的老板B借点钱，而老板却不肯借，通过这段对话，我们可以掌握一个英语习语beat about the bush（说话兜圈子）的用法。下面首先请看这段对话：

样兜圈子说话，但不是出于恶意，而是中国人讲究面子，说话比较含蓄，层层铺垫，以便让对方有一个心理接受的过程，因此上面这段对话，是很典型的中国式说法。但美国人的民族性格则比较直率，说话喜欢直来直去，不习惯这种吞吞吐吐的说法方式，因此向老板借钱这件事，如果我是那个职员，我会在第一句话中，就把结论说出来。请看：
