第五课时Language Practice
一、学情分析
本节课的主要内容为一般现在时态和本单元的重点词汇。一般现在时态通常是学生学习英语语法的第一个语法项目,帮助学生准确理解这一语法现象,并熟练运用这一时态对于他们后期时态的学习能起到抛砖引玉的效果。单元重点词汇来自本单元听力和阅读材料,教师可进一步讲解并组织学生练习、检测,夯实所学内容。
就学生而言,经过几年的英语学习,他们对一些英语语法现象虽然也有了一定的认识,但是不够深入,与此同时,这些碎片化、不够系统的语法知识也会严重影响到他们对知识的吸收和运用。因此,怎样帮助学生搭建起知识的结构并理解它们内在的联系,从而能更准确地运用是教师在教学中要重点思考并努力去解决的问题。对于词汇学习,教师要注意情景创设,帮助学生掌握词汇的运用。
二、教学目标

三、教学活动设计
Step 1 Lead-in
1. Brainstorm grammar points about the simple present tense.
(帮助学生列举一般现在时态的相关知识,为下一步系统化这一些碎片知识做好知识上的准备。)
2. Watch the micro course to learn more about the simple present tense.
(通过可视化方式,帮助学生在轻松的氛围下梳理知识。)
Step 2 Presentation
Deal with Grammar on Page 9 of the students’ book.
1. Review the micro course with the students.
2. Divide the students into groups. Ask them to read the sentences in the box and discuss
verb forms in the simple present tense. Ask some group leaders to give reports.
3. Teacher gives comments on the students’ performance. Present and teach them the simple
present tense.
(在lead-in活动的基础上,小组讨论并梳理一般现在时态的知识能帮同学们系统化理解其意义和用法,同时也可以培养学生的思维习惯,养成良好的学习习惯。)
Step 3 Practice
1. Deal with Activity 14.
Ask the students to read the sentences and classify them into three categories. Check the answers with the students as a whole.
2. Deal with Activity 15.
Students read the dialogue and fill in the blanks. Check the answers with the students as a whole.陈飞宇个人资料
(这两个基础练习活动能帮助学生检测其对一般现在时态意义的理解,以及动词变化的基本掌握情况。)
3. Deal with Activity 16
1) Study the material with the students as a whole.
2) Ask the students to practice the following sentences with partners.
A:When does Zhang Qian get up?
B:She gets up at 6 o’clock.

give some help.
4) Ask some students to demonstrate and give comments on their performance.
(这是一个相对开放性的语言输出练习。设计的对话练习能发现学生语篇输出中可能出现的一些问题并及时纠正,语篇的输出练习能帮助教师了解学生对一般现在时态的运用情况。)
Step 4 Practice
1. Deal with Activity 17.
1) Review the phrases with the students.
2) Students complete the sentences individually, and check the answers.

2. Deal with Activity 18
1) Students read the e-mail and fill in the blanks. Check the answers.
