一般来说目前分为三类： 
1，服务号：主要偏于服务交互（类似银行，114，提供服务查询），认证前后都是每个月可发4条消息 
2，：主要偏于为用户传达资讯（类似报纸杂志），认证前后都是每天只可以发一条消息； 
3，企业号：主要用于公司内部通讯使用，需要先有成员的通讯信息验证才可以 关注成功企业号； 
是怎么申请的呢
第一步，打开网站，我们看到标题栏上“公众平台”点击进入即可。 
第二步，进入立即注册，就会出现以下的页面，最上方有基本步骤的流程，我们先来看第一步：填写基本信息。登陆账号要用邮箱，然后是设置密码，填写验证码，在”我同意并遵守《
公众平台服务协议》“打上对勾，下面就可以点击注册了。
第三步、接下来就是激出的活邮箱，根据提示，登陆刚才注册号时使用的邮箱账号，登陆邮箱，之后就是点击邮箱给网址链接，点击就能激活了。 
第四步、激活后，下一步就要选择注册的类型，我们这里主要讲的是创立个人的，还有一点需注意，一旦成功建立账号，类型不能更改。这里的有三种类型：，服务号，企业号，个人的话，就选择，点击”选择并继续“。
第五步、选择好之后，下面就是用户信息登记。往下看有个”主体类型“，我们点击”个人“就可以了，然后填写个人信息，包括姓名，身份证号码，手机号，手机短信验证码，还有个运营者身份验证，需要用手机扫一下页面的二维码，并且需要绑定任意银行卡，才能验证成功。填完之后，点击”继续“。之后就会出现一个提示，点击”确定“就可以
第六步、然后是为自己的起个名字，是什么类型的就对应起什么名字。接着是对自己的进行简单的功能说明，选择运营地区，国家，省份，城市，完善好信息后，点击”完成“。之后会弹出页面，提醒你注册成功。
这里主要说大家比较关注的大致分两种：
1.以公司名义申请的                        2.以个人名义申请的 
以公司名义申请比个人的有很多优势，但目前只支持数码公司和科技公司申请。 
建议想申请的可以考虑注册一个数码科技公司：注册一个数码科技公司如果你有自己的地址前期只需要几百元，如果没有地址你就需要花钱用别人的，这个花费要高一些大约3000-5000元。 
申请认证的时候是需要花钱的，不管申请成功与否每次都需缴纳300元，申请失败这个钱是不退还的，如果申请成功，每年还需要年审，年审也是需要缴纳费用的。 
（目前有很多公司收购粉丝量大的，价格十分可观，如果你的后期粉丝量增大你不想自己运行了就可以考虑出售，而公司注册的要比个人名义注册的更好出售，价格也要高很多。） 以个人名义注册的： 
这个是免费的，但有很多限制，目前个人名义注册的甚至不能进行认证。如果你只是为了学习建设和锻炼，可以考虑用个人名义注册。
