Title: A Fun Trip to Shenyang
Last summer holiday, my family and I went on an exciting adventure to Shenyang, the capital city of Liaoning Province in northeast China. It was a wonderful journey filled with history, culture, and delicious food. Here's a little story about our trip.
Exciting Start
沈阳旅行Early one morning, we packed our bags with our cameras, sunhats, and comfortable walking shoes. We were all so excited that we could hardly wait to board the train that would take us to Shenyang. The journey was smooth, and before we knew it, we had arrived at the bustling city.
Exploring Shenyang Palace Museum
Our first destination was the famous Shenyang Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City of the Manchu Dynasty. Walking through the grand red gates, we were greeted by the magnificent architecture that seemed to tell stories from the past. We saw beautiful palaces, intricate gardens, and colorful statues. My favorite part was the exhibit of ancient costumes and artifacts, which made me feel like I was walking throug

Tasting Local Delicacies
After a fascinating morning at the museum, our tummies started to rumble. We headed to a local market to try some of Shenyang's famous dishes. We sampled spicy hotpot, which was delicious and warmed us up on a cool summer day. I also fell in love with the sweet and sticky Manchu pastries, which were perfect for a snack.
Visiting Zhaoling and Fuling Mausoleum
The next day, we visited the imperial tombs of the Qing Dynasty, Zhaoling and Fuling Mausoleum. These mausoleums were built in honor of the founding emperor of the Qing Dynasty and his queen. Walking through the mausoleums, we admired the intricate carvings and vast grounds. It was amazing to think that these places were once the resting places of emperors and queens.
A Day at the Zoo
To break away from all the history and culture, we spent a fun day at Shenyang Forest Zoo. The zoo was huge, with animals from all over the world. I got to see pandas up close, which were so cute and cuddly. We also watched a thrilling sea lion show and rode on a small train that took us through different parts of the zoo.
