Part1 Teaching Material
This is the second lesson in which students will learn how to describe the weather using “warm”, “hot”, “raining”, “snowing”, “sunny”, “windy” ... and some simple sentences. “It’s ... today.” This lesson is related to the daily life, they will have high enthusiasm.

Text learning:
Rods learning, warm, sunny, hot, very, windy, season ... As well as the target sentences "It’s… today."
etc.
Ability objective: After this lesson, students can describe the weather.
Emotion objective: S tudents’ English learning interests and self-confidence are increased in the class. At the same time, cultivate their learning strategy and cooperative spirit.
Part3 Key Points and Difficult Points
“Language is the most important communicative tool.” So the key point is how to use the target words and sentences to communicate. From my experience, the pupils here may have difficulty in text learning, so I consider this point as the difficult point. Part4 Teaching Methods and Teaching Aids
I adopt communicative teaching method and task-based text learning method in this lesson. I will use video, PPT, pictures, cards, objects and game player as an aid to mobilize students’ enthusiasm.

Step 1 Organization & Warm-up.
Greeting then making groups. Sing a song.
Play a game. (Look and say)
Purpose: Create the English atmosphere. Let Ss to know me as a new teacher for them. The game is related to the following study which can make students feel relaxed, as well as leading students to today’s topic.
Step 2 Lead in
“It’s…today.” Free talk. Guide Ss to say, i t’s hot/cool/cold/warm today. Then let’s chant.
Purpose: Situat ional learning could improve students’ interest in learning English. Step 3 Presentation & Practice
