Personally speaking, I deem that the most important characteristic a teacher should have is sense of responsibility. Typically a teacher has to deal with many students in different classes. Only with strong sense of responsibility can the teacher take all students in consideration and think of suitable approaches to deal with them. More importantly, a responsible teacher will care for students even after class.
