伴随着80年代以来的文学改编热潮,张爱玲小说也开始反复出现在荧屏中,在此引起了观众的关注,形成了张爱玲小说改编热潮。伴随着影视改编的成熟,张爱玲小说再次得到广泛传播。与其他文学作品改编的情况相同,是否符合原著是一个经久不衰的讨论问题。张爱玲其人其文以及与影视改编的关系一再为公众关注。影视改编的选择文本首先必然是有强大改编空间的作品,张爱玲的作品即是如此。
