2022上半年英语六级作文预测范文 篇一
From the cartoon given above,we can observe that there are many people in a bus. When seeing that an elder man is entering into the bus, the old man near the seat just stands up instantly, says “ please have a seat here” and offers his seat to the elder one. However, all of the other people around, young and healthy, show no intention of giving seats to the old and infirm man.
The cartoon aims at informing us of the phenomenon of the gradual loss of social morality. Quite a few people today are selfish and egocentric. when putting self-interest in the first place, they tend to overlook others’ benefit or feelings and become nonchalant. Moreover, this phenomenon can also be attributed to people’s concern that their social morality, which can be best expressed through kindness, hospitality and warm-hearted behaviors, will sometimes invite unnecessary trouble.
However,no one can deny the importance of social morality. It is conducive to the harmony of society, people equipped with the awareness of social morality are more likely to provide others with a helping hand, endeavor to abide by social orders and curb on their undesirable behaviors. Confronted with the inexorable decline in the emphasis of social ethics, we should adopt some measures to reverse the current situation. (218 words)

    No Spitting!
    不随地吐痰
With SARS gradually passing its peak, more and more people take off their gauze masks. Theyfeel released and have more freedom to breathe in fresh air. However, a certain number ofpeople have restored their bad habit and start to spit everywhere. Now and then, whether inthe street, or on the bus, or in city gardens, we will see some people, the fine ladies andgentlemen, spitting without feeling a bit ashamed as shown in the picture.
When shown the "nospitting!" sign, they just turn a blind eye to it. Still worse, people around have to be on guardagainst the sudden at tack of "spits hot" from the spitters.
Spitting is a terrible habit. For one thing, it is entirely uncivilized. The world has entered the 21st century and human civilization has reached a more advanced stage. Why can't thosepeople remove this ugly habit? Is it because they think the earth is a gigantic spit toon? Foranother thing, spitting does great harm to public health. According to chemical laboratory test, one sputum contains thousands upon thousands of germs and SARS viruses if the spitter is aSARS sufferer. As was reported, the Beijing municipal government once mobilized an army of athousand sanitation workers to clean out the mess in Tian An Men Square.
For people to get rid of this uncivilized behaviour, we suggest local authorities strengtheneducation by publicizing the harmfulness of spitting, and at the same time, enforce the law ofpunishment.
Finally, we, citizens of the earth, must be self-disciplined, love our mother earth and don't
dirty her.

    About Juvenile Delinquency
    关于青少年犯罪
One of the much-talked-about present-day social problems is juvenile delinquency, and its rateof frequency is seemingly on the rise.
英语六级作文范文    It is reported in newspapers that the delinquents range in age from 12 to 18. Only a smallportion have committed serious crimes like kidnapping and murdering. Those cases arehandled through the court system. Most of the delinquencies fall into four categories: brawling, including gang fighting with deadly weapons; theft, mostly petty, sexually promiscuousbehaviour and addiction to drugs. The delinquents are generally placed under temporarysupervision by neighbourhood committees, work units or reform schools.
The causes of juvenile delinquency are varied. Through media we often come across thefollowing cases:
Ill-treatment to teenagers by their step-fathers or stepmothers often lead to family tragedies. School pupil delinquents, being not properly cared for, have chronic behaviour problems. Theirparents are too busy either with business or with gambling. Still, there are cases resulted fromparents' or grandparents' indulgence to their darlings. Petty theft once or twice is notpunished but encouraged. Gradually these petty thieves grow addicted to stealing . Adolescentstried drugs mostly out of curiosity before they finally became habitual drug-takers.
Not a few examples can be found around us in our daily life. Limited by time and space, I haveto skip them over. However, juvenile delinquency, being a serious social problem concerningthe young generation, certainly deserves special attention. I think of all the things we can do, the most fundamental one is deepening and strengthening education so as to ultimately savethe young.
